During my adolescence, around the ages of 15-16, I had the opportunity to encounter Tesdeke. At that time, he embodied a remarkable blend of fearlessness, youthful vigor, and striking handsomeness. Serving as a project manager at Bebeka, he exhibited an exceptional work ethic by engaging in a diverse range of tasks, from driving to drilling water wells. Tesdeke's willingness to get his hands dirty alongside fellow employees left a lasting impression on me. The memories from our Bebeka trip together remain vivid in my mind, serving as a source of valuable lessons and experiences
I envy this guy's intellect. He is an engineer but he has a good knowledge of all related sectors. I advice him to at least give guest lectures to young engineers at engineering schools. Engineers need to be innovators & all rounded thinkers like him.
I learned so much from Meri This ሰውዬ was very knowledgeable and eloquent in every aspect. I appreciate the quality of this video and the topics discussed. Great job!

Great interview! Since I joined commercial real estate, I have been interested to know the state of Ethiopian CRE. Learned a lot. One of the differences between US and Ethiopian CRE I just noticed is promising over 20% return to investors. If a syndicate or a fund manager in the US offers 8 - 10% return, many investors would immediately jump. Of course, there are deals that may generate up to 15 % or more Internal Rate of Return. That said, I am for high returns. The higher return investors get, the more they put their money into this asset class, and in return, the industry flourishes and stimulates other sectors...

He's a really awesome person-well-spoken and polite. But honestly, the guests keep bailing out the interviewers time and time again. Maybe step up the prep game, throw in some interesting questions, and make it more engaging for everyone.
This person owns/leads a real estate company that collects money from the public with the promise to deliver houses within 2/3 years in various locations in Addis. But, after 5 years, let alone delivering, most of them are below 50% of completion rate. So, I personally don't believe what people like him say on media, mostly they talk issues we would like to hear not the truth.

u live in Ethiopia so this is part of tradation ...even in western countries delay can happened it is the natrue of the business
@yetimworkhabte2880 Жыл бұрын
@@ዋሰ I do understand delays can happen due to varies circumstances, but you have no idea what is happening with flintstone. His clients also understand this and even paid in advance for some of the installment payments to help him with his financial constraints. But no progress after that. Instead he made a huge increment in price and forcing them either you enter a new contract with the new price or he will return the money they paid and cancel the former contract. Can you imagine after waiting for 5/7 years and after they tried to help him, do the home buyers deserve this? Even if they want to sign a new contract with the new price they are afraid to do so because they don't trust him anymore. Taking the money also won't be the best option for obvious reason- the money has way less less value now due to inflation. So, they don't know what to do.
@@ዋሰ First of all I didn't delete my comment. Second, why you keep saying America? what has America got to do with the issue we are discussing? Third, if you got my point, it is not fair to take the money for the buyers because that money doesn't buy anything now because of inflation. FYI some of the sites started in 2015 which means it is now 8 years but not completed. Please be reasonable before you write anything.
Hello guys ❤ Thank you for your service 🙏 I think you didn't prepared well for this prodcast 🙈🙈 he's very knowledgeable on the reverse engineering of construction industry and as well the aborted plan of growth and transformation of Ethiopia, which I think he pay heavy price (lost in construction business) So I will love, if he came back after a while and discuss uplifting the construction industry and reverse engineering of construction industry to relieve foreign currency crunch of the industry.

Let's face it, the elephant in the room is, Political Problem in the Country!
yes, Flintstone homes is very dedicated to delivering homes to the clients that I appreciate. also, the homes are cost effective (minimalist) but the compromise done on water and electricity is a very big inconvenience. the electric meter is too small 4KW for three bedroom appartement. the water meter is inside the house which makes difficult to control by the building management. hope you improve this on the new sites you are building.
@ዋሰ Жыл бұрын
real estates in Western nations also they don't provide u electricity u have to deal with power authorities individually because ur requrement might be bigger than other people so they can't provide u extra power for everyone and expecting cheaper house doesn't work
