Loving that Strymon and Eventide aren’t the only shows in town anymore. Liking the no screen, but still lots of functions from Meris and Empress. There are almost too many really great pedals now....it’s amazing what has happened just in the past year or two.
@jonaseggen22306 жыл бұрын
Meris. Probably the best pedals in that price range. At least the delay and reverb as the Ottobit is hard to compare. Much magic hidden under the hood of those vehicles.

Holy Cow! just when i had whittled my choices down to two reverbs, (Ventris Dual Engine Reverb and Strymon Big Sky - thinking Empress as a maybe) - now comes these three whatcha-m'callits and a presentation like no other. These three seem to be able to make a Volca FM sound almost like a Prophet 12 ( or Rev 2) which would be my next step if I can face the opinion of my sweetie when she learns the P12 (or Rev 2) is on the way.

Hey... new to your channel (also new to obsessing over guitar pedals -- with a focus on ambient, post-prog, and glitch stuff... Explosions in the Sky, Tycho, sigur rós, Múm, Hammock, Bent, etc.) Anyway, I'm looking to put together a pedalboard "on a budget" (ie. under $1000 USD), so I can basically get 3 (maybe 4... maybe I'll fudge that budget) of the following... Which 3 or 4 would be your priorities out of this list: Neunaber Immerse, Meris Polymoon, Earthquaker Avalanche Run, Earthquaker Disaster Transport Sr, EHX Deluxe Memory Man/Boy, EHX Stereo Memory Man, EHX Canyon, Infinite Jets, Red Panda Tensor, Dwarfcraft Grazer, Ottobit Jr. (basically, I want a delay + reverb + one or two special effects for glitch and/or chillout)

The polymoon seems like its purpose is to prepackage the work that we do by cascading lots of effects to create a unique world of sound. It seems like the polymoon might streamline this process but I can’t tell if that’s a good thing. In other words, do you think the polymoon is versatile enough to contribute tastefully to an fx chain?
