So basically AKU doesn't really have a aggregate system (atleast no one knows what they prefer and how much they prefer something) but all that matters is passing the test and having a good overall profile + interview. FSC scores matter, MDCAT not so much

Thanks for the video, it's great content. Subscribed and Liked. I have a question. Say there's an MBBS student who got the scholarship. But he fell out of the top 15% in the 1st year MBBS exams. However, he scores in the top 15% the next year (2nd-year of MBBS exams) Will he lose the scholarship for the next 4 years if he fails once to get in the top 15 once? Or will he be able to regain the scholarship if he gets in the top 15 in the subsequent year? (That is 2nd MBBS exam in my example)

Hey there, thank you for the support! Failing to score in the top 15% does mean the merit scholarship will be terminated in all the coming years. Hence, if you are in the top 15% in first year, your merit scholarship continues to Year 2 and so on. Hence, generally, if you do fail to score in the top 15% in first year, it would unfortunately terminate the scholarship unless the university decides to accommodate a special request.

My dear Maryum...can you please answer a worried mum.My son had been extremely intelligent boy through out his academic carrier....He is preparing for AKU entry test too.He os so intelligent that he got a placement at Princeton University.. University of London etc this January but he was actually for AKUH ..Now today Alevels result is out but he got As and Bs(for the very first time)It's been a disaster kind of feeling for him and for me too as a mother.I have told him to focus on 13th August entry test.Is there any way out??? kindly reply... I shall be grateful 💞He had all As in Alevels 1 and all A*s in O levels ....today was his A2 result.😪

Dear Fatima, Alevels is pretty hard to score in so a mix of As and Bs should not let you or him down. If he already has good placements abroad and finances are available as well, it is a good option to avail. As far as AKU is concerned, As and Bs will not hold him from getting the admission in AKU if he passes the test and interview. The criteria here is much broad. In these 3 days, if he wants to take a break that makes sense as well due to being demotivated. If he studied well for the test beforehand, these last 3 days will not harm his prep

No its yearly based, you need to perform well each year to maintain it. Plus, merit scholarship awarded on overall basis not just test

@@voldi4606 He cleared the test in good percentage but wasn't called for the interview.AKUH emailed that the entry test response was overwhelming this year so for the very first time we aren't calling all the candidates for Interview.They had made a separate list for interviews.

Hey, thanks for the question. It is difficult to answer it, though, yes it is difficult to maintain top 15% in the 100 most brilliant minds, but with dedication and hardwork, it is achievable.
