These two the greatest ever and this is2021 they both have the greatest voice EVER I am 75 and would love to have meet them. That’s what country should still be like. George Strait is great also. He has a way like them and he is great. Merle and Marty would still be great love to see them 3 together. I am a true music loving woman but my real Love is our Lord and my family and we thank him for all and allowing such talent in such MEN. This the lady of the Cortez family To all these singers family’s . We love your family. God Bless All Just because we love country and all music don’t mean be have to be wild and nuts.

Well said sir. Country was so good during the mid 60’s - early 80’s! It’s funny to see Merle pulling so hard on those cigarettes too. Just reminds you it was a different time. Thanks for commenting. Hope you saw the others from this show I posted before and have a few more to go.

@@Shakeyleg that was the first thing I thought when I saw this video... Merle draggin' on a cig lol. Merle is my favorite singer of all time. I like to sing karaoke and a lot of times I'll sing songs from my chair... but when it's Merle? I go stand up and sing. I tell the DJ lady... ya gotta respect the Merle! Don't slack on a Merle song. Lol Awesome stuff you put on here.

Sunday. Tent revival with the peaveys up high and Stevie on the drums. Brother Early with his good sittin pillow and Brother Troy by his stubborn window and hard of hearing. Preacher Buck chewing his ubiquitous slice of ice cube, contemplating his sermon as brother Tony sets ‘‘em up and knocks ‘em down bringing tongues to the crowd and every hand raised up giving it all over and bursting from the pews. They are crying holy! And now it’s mid afternoon on the dewy plateau of that eternal grass and the tents are up and the foil is ragged amongst piles of food with hands eager and honest and they even got bags of ice sweating on the table with the usual and this time sister Dinsmore brought her punch bowl with an unimaginable bent spoon that tickles through a glitz of fizz as the last glacier of ice rests content to its fate.
