God, these two. I'd like to do a longer, more introspective vid on them one day but I also absolutely had to do this. This song is THEM.
Imo, they didn't have the most balanced friendship even before Morgana turned (something I'll elaborate on another day). But, they were close and and CARED about one another. And I can't help but wonder how confused and hurt Gwen must have been. Yes, Morgana turned, Morgana's now their enemy, but all of a sudden it's personal and she only provides the vaguest answers as to why. And Morgana, who went from pointing a sword at others for Gwen, to pointing a sword at Gwen.
Fun fact, I actually completed the vid - piecing together the footage that is - in a day! That's wild, I've never done that before lol. It was the "making it pretty" aspect that took me til now. I learned a lot tho! And I think I managed to keep to a solid aesthetic, more or less.
