I loved that standoff with Agravine. No witty one liners, just Merlin standing there being "This is who I am. I will do what I need to do." He was just so quietly confident in himself. It was amazing to watch. :)

Honestly, this is the best Merlin video I've ever seen. The music mixed with the clips and dialogue was just epic. I can just picture Arthur seeing this and realizing just how awesome Merlin really is. I can not get enough of this video. It is flat out Brilliantly made. The emotion in Colin's, is intense!. The music just builds on that emotion, as well! You can feel his reluctance to reveal himself to Agravaine. But he knows he must in order to follow his destiny to protect Arthur and insure the return of Albion. I see in him, the innocent young man disappear; and a powerful warlock emerge. The Merlin we will see will be more confident in himself, and definately more powerful!

Oh my god, toufinus... I love all of your vids. But, this... it is just perfect. When I saw this scene, I was really impressed of the acting of Colin, and I adored the dialogue between him and Agravain. It was short, but very powerful. He showed him what he really is. And, this video shows us the role of Merlin, the loud secret he must keep and the real power he has. And with the music, that I love, it is epic. I love the moment in this video when Agravaine says “... at Arthur’s side” and we see Arthur smiling and hugging Merlin (not caring that he is covered in mud), and it’s just beautiful. It reminds why Merlin chose Arthur and not Morgana, for example. It was never about the prophecy - Arthur was worthy of it, if Arthur was a tyrant, like his father, Merlin never would have supported him. 1:17 - 1:18 - it’s pure gold.
