I literally discovered the existence of this Merlin doll this week. I love Merlin, I totally want that one for sure, but I love more fantasy clothes. The default outfits I use for my collection look like extras from Aladdin.

And Morgan Le Fey is a traditionally a villain so good read on her. She also comes up in a lot of comics as a villain in addition to Arthurian legend.

It’s been a long time since I’ve read a King Arthur book but I’m pretty sure they’re half siblings and Morgan le Fay is Merlin’s sworn enemy so that’s why she looks villainous 😊 I really like that Merlin’s beard yellowed too, it just looks really good on him 😄 He doesn’t look wonky to me 😊 oh man do I need to find this Barbie set one day too? 🤔 😅

I read a Morgan le fay book when I was a preteen or teenager and she was screwed over so much no wonder she was more a villain.

What a great set! Seems like the quality was pretty good back then. You mentioned your other rooted hair men dolls - maybe sometime you'd do a video of them all together. I thought the opposite about Ken's shorts, that they expected people WOULD look under the robe and that's why they gave him shorts - lol. Love his consternation eyebrows - probably from dealing with feisty Morgana. She's wonderful too.

You didn’t know about these characters?! Morgan le Fay is one of my favorite literary figures 🤯 I took Arthurian literature back in college and the way that Morgan was shipped away to a nunnery just to come back as an evil witch was the RuVeal of the century, haha. Her doll looks so pretty, although I think a green dress would have complimented her features better.
