Love love love, you could do an octopus on front cover in middle to leave corners and some of the brown peeking through. Or like a cave entrance in middle with mermaid.

I was sooooooooo happy to see this video pop up!!!!! I had tears coming down looking at every page!!! This book is fabulous!!! I had a memory in my Facebook come up today. I would recommend creating your art on the cover…..it defines you and I love your art!!! You can leave the backside of the book vintage. That pull out mermaid is the bomb!!! ❤❤❤❤❤

Your book is beyond fabulous--once again! I can tell you are feeling better Lori! I’m so glad. I’m a retired bookkeeper so I’m leaning toward leaving the cover as is, but some of the ideas in the comments sound spectacular too! How about leaving some of the background peeking through, and those corners just HAVE to stay!🥰

Love this journal! Think you could decorate the cover, leaving the originals corners so you can tell it is vintage, but just to spiff it up a bit. Your artwork is amazing!

wow! I love the way you color. That is a skill I need work on. My favorite is the mermaid with the scuba diver background. Beautiful book. I would add a mermaid on the cove. maybe colage it on and leave some of the gold .

It's a great book! I don't know how difficult it would be, my first thought was a stip of lace flat against the metal and with a decorative edge. But since it is all mermaid underwater themed I wonder if a piece of a strip of fish net could be added somehow on the front, but not covering the whole thing?

Loved this! Yes, do something simple on the cover. I've missed watching your videos. I'm dealing with hubby's terminal cancer, so not feeling creative. Have you done journals with health issues themes? I thought I heard you say you have some health issues.

Sorry to hear your husband is not well. Watching videos can still raise your vibration in a positive way to make you feel uplifted. Creativity will come to you in due time. Your plate is full. Take care of YOU as well. Sending healing energy and hugs your way. TFW I have not done specific health issue themed journals but promote creating to reduce stress, anxiety, pain management and more. Art truly soothes the heart 💚
