Your crowns are so pretty! I love the curled fork idea; super creative! I have a question. Being that the tiaras are plastic, aren't they at risk of breaking once they are holding all the glued-on components? Also, do you use other types of glue in addition to the hot glue ? I made my first mermaid crown the other day and I found that in some instances, it was easier and more securing to use Gorilla glue in some spots. ( for instance when gluing a gem onto a shell ). I had a really hard time trying to get the shells to stick to the headband I was using as a base. ( fabric-covered headband ). I'd like to try another mermaid tiara but would like your thoughts on the best method for gluing the pieces on. The glue gun worked fine in some places, but in other places i I had to resort to the Gorilla glue. This is a great video, thanks for the tips!

elsamere Hi! I’m excited you made one. Yes Gorilla Glue is usually best unless you want to go dry fast. You can use masking tape to hold the item in place. I have worms the crowns a lot and not run into problems with them breaking. Although they can get heavy at times. For a fabric headband, I would use Gorilla Glue. I like it a lot! I would love to see a picture of the crown you made!
