I have a concern regarding swimming in lakes, springs and rivers. I'm often told not to use my tail in natural water due to "animals seeing me as a big fishy snack" even when I'm about the size of a manatee and the alligators don't come anywhere near them. Have you ever had any encounters with wild creatures?

Couple years late but I feel like whether you wear a tail or not if there are animals that want to eat you they’d want to eat you anyways. Plus most ocean predators rely on smell, and you’d smell different to an actual fish. Also these places that are filmed don’t seem to have much wildlife in them so it’s up to where you decide to swim ig
