Meross Smart Wi-Fi Thermostat REVIEW

Thank you for the helpful video. I am considering purchasing this thermostat to replace an existing Honeywell old school thermostat on a combi boiler. But the one I have has a transmitter/receiver near the boiler wired into the mains supply and then a remote thermostat in my hallway. They communicate with each other to control the boiler. I don't understand where this Meross thermostat should go - where do I wire it in? Can you help me to understand the difference as I also have a Hive (in a different house) which also has a transmitter and receiver/thermostat. Thank you
