Really?! I feel like this generation is so different now that people in their 20s are looking at marriage positive now idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m 25 got married last year and it was the best choice ever ! But anyways if you think about around 5 years ago everyone would hate marriage I would see alot of young people just living with that person but now you see a lot of people getting engaged and married idk if that makes sense

True. Even nowadays 30 is seen as young to get married. Older gens were forced to be married so early, so I feel like some non traditional ppl are making choices for themselves. I feel if u find the love of ur life and u know you’re ready, why not make it official.

Society is teaching everyone to hate on marriage. Getting married young was the BEST decision I have made. And no, I do not have any kids. I got married for love. Why not spend time with my best friend and make all the memories with him? Having someone to share your life with is not a bad thing regardless what social media is telling you. i feel like the reason people react to how early/young you got married because we came from a generation that married around their 30s. (i can be wrong, but i know a lot of people who are like 10-20 ish years older than me that married in their late 30s). honestly i love that some couple marry and start a family in their 20s, just because they have the opportunity to grow up with their kids. i think the merrell twins are mature (and financially stable) enough to handle a marriage, and eventually start their own family. i’m genuinely so happy for them (and aaron & john, of course)!
