Merry Christmas too Nathen. Thanks for posting. We also gave up on presents for adults and hot meals here in the heat of our Southern Hemisphere summer are too heavy. Simple is better and after all its all about being with your family and friends. Love from South Africa 🇿🇦

I agree! I can relate to the heat as well. In the summer here (an average high of only 80*F) I usually opt to have cold sandwiches and fruits for dinner.

So nice to hear from you and that you took time out of your day to make a video. As a Jew, I don' celebrate Xmas, but it is a tradition among many Jews to go out for Chinese food on Xmas. Most Chinese restaurants stay open on Xmas and profit from the tradition. You must have a large extended family ... how many?

We do not have to big of a family, not that we stay in touch with anyhow. Our dinners are usually about 15 people.

I finally got to watch this after 6 days Nathen. Great idea on how you celebrate Christmas Eve/Day. My family makes it pretty easy so there isn't so much stress. We do exchange gifts though and my aunt goes to town for the whole month baking cookies. I enjoy being around them and the way my week went last week I only got to see everyone on Christmas Eve because I was taking care of 4 dogs while my friends were on vacation in Jamaica. So Happy New Years Eve haha

Hey Nathen,Merry Christmas!.I stopped with all the big dinners,and gift giving too.Now i just get together with some friends and a few family members,and order some food,from a local restaurant,so no one has to get stressed during the holidays,which works out well.

Merry Christmas Nathan. Xmas eve I go to my brother & sister in law's for a full course meal. Xmas day me, my sister, & dad go out for chinese food. For presents we do a yankee swap on xmas eve.
