So good to see the 'chippies' back on Yabá, sad not seeing Nezo there tho' , that guy was an absolute hero, (tell me you sent a book back for him too). It was just fantastic to watch the 'chippies' build with sledge hammers, chain saws, mallets and chisels, using the sides of the hammer to hammer in nails 🤔🙈🤣😂. Just think what you two have learnt too from these guys, when someone buys a finished boat they then must learn how to use it, you two tho' not only know this already but you also know about every inch of Yabá and undertand whys and whatfors. A massive thanks to your families too, not everyone has a family that is so supportive. Seeing you all gathered around the table on the verandah was the embodiment of that scene you envisaged MP when you first looked over the ailing Yaba and dared to dream. Congratulations to you and those craftsmen who turned your dream into a reality. The book was a really thoughtful gift. The pleasure it gave was immense. I am sure those men labour away day after day and eventually see the fruits of their labours slide down the slipway, but now they have a tangible keepsake celebrating their skill and confirming your gratitude and appreciation. Joy and peace to all! YABA has come so far thanks to your hard, HARD work. My only suggestion would be to copy the 'Lesma' like curls on the handrail onto the 'knob' of the bowsprit! It would really tie the decorative touches together! Have a fun Christmas with all your friends both aboard and on-line!
