I just want to reiterate that the point of this series isn't to be a perfect guide to getting to the top ranks. It's simply how I would approach this game as someone who had never played a fighting game before. Some of the things that I say might be misinformed and as I find out those situations I will correct myself in another post.

We're around the same prowess, I'm also an Asuka main. If you'd like to spar sometime or learn more combos that you aren't using. Like for instance using your FF 1 2 throws your opponent really far, making it impossible for you to get a good Oki. But I won't babble too much in your comments. hit me up sometime :)
