I am from and still live in Alaska. Oranges are one of the only fruits we can get at this time of year so I think that may be why northern places associate them with Christmas. I hang orange and cranberry garlands on my tree!

I grew up in Washington state and got oranges in my stocking every year! I love oranges and they remind me of the special feelings associated with Christmas!

This is my first time watching your videos! Thanks so much for inspiring me. I don't do scrapbooking, but I make cards to sell. I never thought about putting things together like you did. Once again, it was so inspirational. It was just my husband and I this year for Christmas Day, so we stayed in our jammies and watched football all day. Didn't have anything special to eat. Did chicken wings in the oven and some little snacks but nothing exciting. Thanks again for the great ideas! Looking forward to watching your other videos! Have a great day!

I live in Melbourne and just as you were describing your thunderstorm, we had the most massive clap of thunder and lightening and the power went out. Thankfully just briefly as it is hot and humid here today. LOL

Christmas morning my entire family (parents who are 90 and 87), sibling and spouses, our kids and grands. (42 in all) we have Christmas brunch (creole sausage dish, cheese grits, hash brown casserole, egg casserole, and English trifle for dessert.

Re where to print while you're camping: makes me think there should be a printer station near the biffies and water taps, thereby putting all the essential amenities together. And the camp store/gift shop would carry adhesive refills.

My favorite thing this year was learning to junk journal. Next year my goal tis to do a no buy and I’ve got a list of projects in a container I’d like to get done. It’s the year of working through my crafty stash.

Instead of trying to catch up on previous years , 2024 I’m hoping to scrap as it happens, well as close to as possible. I make my own daily journal/diary so will do that again in 2024…….the thunder was really rolling along! Hope you got your washing in before the rain!

Great video. I needed that reminder to just stick and plonk. I've been way too hung up on the colours and styles matching perfectly. 😂 Sounds like we are doing a similar thing for December Daily . I make my own TNs each month and add whatever I want to as well as documenting the month. My OLW goes in there too. Keeps it all together. Hope you get your DD finished. Just adding the final touches to mine. I only get photos printed every week or so. I leave a gap the size I'm going to print it. I mostly collage print so I get more in.

I remember in grade school years and years ago for Christmas we always got candy and an orange to take home here in the USA. Here 39 degrees is pretty cold.

Our christmas day is quiet as my small person is adopted so christmas can be tricky. Bacon sandwiches for brunch and a roast for dinner...later on cheese...all . .the...cheese! Boxing day is a mad affair with all of the inlaws. My other half is one of 7! Love this video. You always inspire me to get making embellishments...thanks adele and a very happy new year to you and yours.

You totally motivated me to get out all these boxes of leftover bits & pieces from a monthly subscription that I get, organized them into little bags to use them up. We have cold winters so always hope for snow on Christmas. None this year😢. We celebrate big on Christmas Eve with my grandkids and extended family on Christmas Day. Lots of food and presents.

I think oranges were special after the war due to shortages/ rationing. Always got clementines as stocking fillers.

My favourite crafty thing was finishing two art journals! That felt good. Goal is to get 200 scrapbook layouts done. That should get me a long way forward in terms of catching up.
