I want to make the cape in the crochet magazine you reviewed recently. We had our annual chili feed last night and I distributed all the blankets, gloves, scarves, and amigurumi toys to the 19 family and friends at our chili feed for them to either keep or to give to the homeless. Saved me a lot of time to find an outlet for my crochet stuff and now I can start over because I don't have a stockpile any more. :)

Merry Christmas! I was very happy that it was a relaxing and peaceful day for me because this entire month has been quite busy and stressful. My mother in law has been in the hospital all month and I’ve been helping my father in law just making sure he’s ok. Working FT has added to the stress bc I can’t be home to help more or tend to my own family needs as I wish. With that, I can say watching your videos has helped me forget the daily stresses and do inspire me to try something new, whether a new yarn or stitch. So thank you so much and I look forward to what 2025 brings! P. S. My crochet goal is to not only finish some projects I started but hope to make a wearable/garment like a cardigan. ❤

I always do a roast in the crockpot with potatoes, carrots, onions etc every Christmas. When my kids were little I got tired of being stuck in the kitchen. I throw everything in the crockpot while I get my coffee and dinner will be ready when we are and all I have to do is make up some gravy and throw some rolls in the oven. So I can sit and enjoy my family. I get a really nice roast. This year I want to work on blankets and straight edges. I’m doing my first now and it’s not good. I always crochet other things because I know edges are hard for me. I’ve tried so many tips. Stacked SC for next row. Stitch markers in first and last and counting. It still messes up. I’ve been crocheting a lot for 4 years I just stick to clothes, accessories, baskets, granny square stuff etc I need to break out and figure this out. I just can’t seem to get it. I see improvement so I do have hope even though I’ve been trying for 4 years. 😂
