Totally agree. Chris covered a lot of range in this one, holding down the bass during Tim’s opening verse and then scoring some solid tenor high notes later in the piece. He has a lot of talent and it’s a shame it wasn’t featured more in their videos while he was in the group. I LOVE this arrangement, and this Christmas classic used to be “meh” to me, but has become my #1 favorite thanks to Home Free!

For me one of the best arranged songs, or perhaps the best, of Home Free. So impressive! The phenomenal beatboxing/vocal percussion , the overwhelming bass(notes), the great harmonies, the sound effects, colors, etc. in such a beautiful but cold scenery. I could listen and watch this all the time. A lot happens, but not that it is disturbing. Just amazing.

Thank you for your reaction. This is one of my fave songs by Home Free. By Minnesota standards, it's really not a true ice castle as those are soooo expensive to build these days so now they spray water over forms to create "ice castles." The last BIG ice castle built with ice blocks harvested from local lakes was in 1986 for the St Paul Winter Carnival 100th Anniversary. (It used to be an annual thing for the Winter Carnival). Cars were lined up for miles at night to view it as it was colorfully lit up. I got to see it from a medical helicopter which was awesome.

Song is pretty, Home Free are fantastic. The lyrics to this old holiday song is perplexing. Child "shivers in the cold, let us bring him silver and gold" how about a damn blanket! When does silver and gold keep someone warm? That part always irked me. It will if they sell it or trade it for something warm. Other than that strange verse it's pretty nice.
