A magical Christmas present, one of my favorite pieces of music played by my favorite pianist. I was a projectionist when the film first came out and used to rush out into the auditorium every night as soon as I'd got the film running just to catch this piece in it's full glory. Nice one George.

Often I'm amazed by concert pianists for playing things that are technically far, far above my level. I can technically play this piece, but today I'm amazed by how much subtle expression and feelings you are able to put into it that us ordinary folks couldn't hope to match.
