It's crazy to see the racism Merry received. I was born and have lived in Denmark, and I always knew there were racists, but I never saw it personally. For me, it was something you heard about in the news like 'America has a huge problem with racism.' However, it's incredibly sad to realize that as humans, we have come so far and yet still treat each other differently just because of skin tone or sexuality. There are definitely places where it is a bigger problem but it remains a problem all over the world, in every country.

My dads from that town as well so we go to Denmark to visit family and friends and idk why it was a shock to see merry in a place where I’ve been regularly and go to all the places I’ve been… Oh also that guy in the comic store is actually from Chicago!!
