My personal favorite Spider-Woman. I look forward to eventually seeing the rest of her history someday. With the Madame Web movie coming out does that mean we will be getting more female spider character videos? I hope you cover Mattie Franklin and Arana. Julia was also part of the 90s iron man cartoon series. She was the best match for Tony stark in my opinion. No one can change my mind! She is way more amazing and attractive than pepper Potts! If it were up to me Julia would still be Tony’s full time love interest! I’m glad to know that despite not being romantic they had a strong connection and friendship in the comics as well. I’m still hoping though that they could be a couple again in a new live action iron man reboot. Thanks for the video.

West Coast Avengers/Avengers West Coast was my favorite comic as a kid, so Julia was my Spider Woman. I was disgusted when the book was cancelled, and gave up buying comics less than a year later. Anyway, so glad you put the spotlight on Julia here. It's just too bad that the character is going to be stuck in Sony's awful Spiderverse.

One thing I think would be really interesting and informative in your videos is if you would briefly note either with text or verbally when the subject's first published appearance was when it comes up chronologically in your summary. I often watch with my wife and like to point out retcons but sometimes it's difficult with comics I never read or am just not very familiar with at all.

Julia Carpenter is first mentioned as a recipient of a crate shipped to Horlicks University from the Arctic Expedition of June 19 1834. A heavy wooden crate that was nailed closed, and chained with very heavy chains labled, "Ship to Horlicks University via Julia Carpenter. Arctic Expedition June 19, 1834," was left under an old basement stair well for over a century. Or, perhaps the old crate was moved there more recently. But, it was never opened. This goes to show that Julia Carpenter may be a lot older that what anybody may believe. She must have faked her death several times. She probably kept the contents of the crate hidden and locked away for decades.

That's the character that Mary "Skeeter" MacPherran, long before becoming Titania and descended into villainy, used to hero-worship. I always have a thing for all three of the Spider-Women (Jessica Drew, Julia Carpenter, and Gwen Stacy of Earth-65) in a very respectful way, and I also wish women should be strong, brave, and have something they truly fight for.

Initially, X-Factor was the name of a supposed mutant hunting company they started while posing as humans. Of course, they secretly helped the mutants they investigated. During this time, while using their mutant identities, they called themselves the X-Terminators. It was soon revealed to the public that X-Factor and the X-Terminators were one in the same, but after saving New York from Apocalypse, the team were regarded as heroes. They abandoned the X-Terminators name, and it was later adopted by a group of mutants whom X-Factor had helped.
