Arthur is such a baby. No, like I mean he is such an awkward little duck, like his lack of love, support and touch are so painfully showing. He is prince for sure he knows how to be a prince, charming and everything but he never really had friends and childhood to be just a kid. @@alicekmerlinenthusiast well, at least the 'u' wasn't filled with some Uther quote.^^ but then again, this man is solely responsible for giving us merthur in the first place. he made Merlin manservant to his son knowing full well the duties this assignment included. tending to Arthur's needs 24/7 and getting up, close and personal on a daily basis. instead of having the 'I' wasted by Arthur breaking a meaningless pot, you could have filled it with Uther telling Merlin: *I'm glad. Look after him.* Uther thinks he is going to die and in this moment he entrusts Merlin with taking care of his precious son beyond his death. it's in s01e09 from 33:30 onwards if you want to check it.
