Well planned, structured, coordinated and presented. There was a great synthesis of not only vocal, instrumental and dance elements but also in north and South Indian elements. Therefore this was a success in displaying the majesty of our classical traditions. Which makes one wonder how many urban Naxals were sitting watching and internally sneering at this event.

Great music and dance from a talented ensemble. Nice effort but I found some major problems - not with the artistes but with the sound mixing and camera work. The sound mixer does not highlight the percussion at all. It is obvious with the tabla and pakhawaj where both players are trying to play harder to get a clearer sound. In fact , only when Savani Talwalkar recites the dance bol, does the sound get enhanced! Similar problem with the pakhawaj. When Mahima Upadhyay plays, the resonance of the pakhawaj does not show through at all. Also the camera is more often focussed on Kaushiki Chakraborty or Debopriya Chatterjee or Nandini Shankar when the percussionists were playing some really good bits. The only time there was some camera coordination was when it switched between the dancer and the percussionist.
