for size 44, we would recommend size 44. for real, as the imperials come in dual sizes and size 43/44 has a stretchable toe, it should work out better than going with the bigger shell size. if you are in between sizes and might have length problems with this one, there is also the option to get the second skin liner by myfit, which will provide another 5-8mm extra space inside your skate shell.
