Excellent play through man! Since you demoed the Rev G triple, which one you prefer? And does the MW triple get you that NU metal sound that Rev G triple does?

Hey hey, thanks for the kind words! Man its so tricky with these rectos, I think I've had 5... so far... 3 channel dual, 3 channel triple, Rev G triple, Dual Multi, Triple Multi, and its almost always the previous amp I sold that I think might've been the best.. haha. Since I didnt have them at the same time I'm really not sure which one I prefer, but feature wise the multi-watt FOR SURE wins, more fx loop options, actual clean channel, better channel cloning ETC. Listening back to my other videos of the REV G It certainly sounds great, different maybe tighter and smoother, but also hard to tell because I used to dial rectifiers soo differently when i had that one IE presence up vs presence down. I think my fav one might've been the regular three channel triple i had. For NU metal tones, the multi is deff easier to get those tones but honestly any recto will get you in that zone for sure.

@@acrylicrecording I agree, it’s tricky with these rectos for sure! I currently own a Rev G modded by ground zero and I’m searching to buy another triple rev G stock. I also have a Badlander 100 that I managed to make it sound like older rectos but way tighter, cutting some frequencies with a parametric EQ in the FX loop. I think Badlander wins the way I set it up. I also use Mr Scary mod to boost the gain and it works amazing.

Do you feel there is a big difference between dual recto and triple recto？

There is, but it’s mostly insignificant considering 9.99 times of ten, you’ll probably be micing the amp. It’s really just headroom. Triple Rec is 150w, so might be better for drop tunings at higher volumes.

@@acrylicrecording I’ve owned both a Dual Rec multiwatt and an Uberschall, both those amps excel at lower tuning for sure. They have such a growly crunch to them and are the best recording amps EVER if you ask me. They sound so huge, you don’t even need to have more than two tracks to get “the sound”. When I first got the Uber, I was tuning to Eb and for whatever reason it just didn’t click. I went down to D standard and it was like “THERE IT IS!”. Magic. From then on I’ve stayed at D standard 436hz. The Triple didn’t sound much different at all to me, so I went with a Dual, didn’t need the extra headroom because those amps really need to be attenuated to get the most out of them at home, they need the global volume at like 9 o clock, at least, to come alive.

@@acrylicrecording Looking forward to your video~！My triple rectifier in the bedroom can only switch the volume to 50 watts, even when the master and output are turned up to 10 o'clock, the sound is already 120 db. However, when I switch to 150 watts, the sound feels much wider and the low-frequency diving is deeper. This video is only in 50 watt mode kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJW9iZ5_r82AedE

@@acrylicrecording No. Multi-Triple, vs Multi-Triple. Afaik they changed the Transformer supplier a while ago. I don't know if there's also been revisions, other than that.
