I made a bandanna cowl similar to this one for my daughter who was a barrel racer. I used homespun alpaca and while it wasn’t nearly as beautiful and colorful as yours, it was so warm! You’ve inspired me to make another, this time for me and definitely in that gorgeous yarn. Thank you!

I did not - just let the colors flow as they came. Works well with an ombre style self striping yarn. If you change up to a self-striping non-ombre style yarn I think color controlling would be a good plan. But some colors seem to work well anyway - just play with it and see how you feel. Hope that helps! 😊

Hi, I know this is an old video but I am making this pattern currently. I am wondering if there is an issue with just joining the ends at row 72 and then working the moss / linen stitch in the round? Maybe I missed you saying it I will admit that I was using the pattern and then came here to see how you joined the ends together and how you went about the moss stitch in the round.

Yes, absolutely you could choose to begin working in the round in row 72 as long as you keep the stitch pattern! A great idea! 💕🌸

@@nanascraftyhome thank you!! So I got impatient and gave it a go lol. It worked really well. I really loved making this pattern. Thanks!! It turned out beautifully and I do want to make more. I love to play with color and the moss stitch and I think this pattern gives the perfect place to do it.
