Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it. I think the legion mitigates a lot of the weakness with not counting as broken. In a vanilla list wouldve been a very different game!

Feint with the Balrog in every single combat vs. anyone that is F6 or below, especially if they can't Strike. Always, feint.

speaking of which I am working on a 1000 point moria list and I need help deciding if it is more worth it to either get a second cave troll or an entirely new warband consisting of a goblin captain and 10 generic moria goblin warriors

Isuldur was likely trapped against the balrog too. He couldn’t move back a full inch. See lots of these battle reports never move back a full inch!

Easy to get caught up in the moment mate, moving 40 models in and out of combats 20 times in 2 hours! I’ll try keep a closer eye on it for you next time!

yeah good game guys. had a thought with isildur, not striking up at the end there verses brog, and waiting for elendil to join first! suppose it doesn't matter if you roll a one for the strike haha doh!. just a thought though.. was a fun watch. i do like numenor.

How many points does the balrog cost? Seems crazily overpowered. Seeing as you get all those goblins too within the points allowance. The good hero’s must cost a bit too but seems unfair

Orc bows wounding on 4+ seems ridiculous. I’m sure elf bows usually require a 6 to wound most armoured units.

Hey mate against s2 against the d4 numenor archers is normally 5s down to 4s because of the mission special rule. 6s down to 5s against the boys with shields
