MESHUGGAH - BLEED // Guitar/Violin Cover

Hello everyone,
I hope you enjoy this version of the famous "Turning on a motorcycle"-song.
Bleed - ObZen © 2008 Nuclear Blast
I played it on the Schecter Omen 8 which is the one you can see in the video.
For amplification, I used a Mesa Dual Recto Profile on my Kemper Profiler straight into Studio One.
The violin is a Gottfried Raabs Guarnierus Model from 2005 and the Bow is made by Richard Grünke. I recorded the solo on a Zoom H6 Recorder.
Thanks to Freddy for the video and cutting the parts and also to Anna for motivating me to finish the video after struggling with the violin part for quite a while.

I never considered the idea of a Meshuggah solo on violin. Works really well, kinda gives that 20th century experimental orchestral music sound, I really like it.

Fredrik's solos work really well on brass or sax too... but that's because he's so heavily influenced by Allan Holdsworth, who modelled his playing on John Coltrane's sax.
