I was a student of IIT Delhi....even there the breakfast was superb....as the day progress...the food quality detoriates.

Food looks highly subsidized. But 160₹/day for students from rural area might be too much since almost 100cr people are below poverty line which is less than 50-70₹/day.

Sir, if someone is specifically interested in interdisciplinary domains like AI or Mixed VLSI design then what should be slightly more preferred? IIT Bombay or IISc Bangalore. I know both are best in India and that is what makes comparison very hard for someone who can get in both.

Thanks for your efforts in making this video. Currently I am in IIT BHU and I am sure food here is far better....in terms of variety of dishes and taste. We get 3-4 types of sabji every lunch n dinner, 3 types of rice, roti, dal plain n fry both, salad and a sweet dish. This apart one can order egg ommlette or bhurji for a nominal charge.

I once visited a friend and he invited me for evening snacks in the mess. There was idili + sambhar and it was really good. Usually quantitative cooking losses its taste but it was really tasty just like home cooked(not like hotel).

4 times food a day is followed by all hostels. Menu is decided by the mess committee of individual hostel. Mess committee comprises of hostel students only. U have to register in a mess in any hostel in the beginning of the semester, in case u eat in other hostels, u have pay guest charges
