Proud to have know your Dad albeit only through his channel. I am on a similar journey myself and have had a number of chemotherapy treatments over the last eighteen months. Managed to attain remission every time but kept on relapsing so unable to have the transplant even though a 10/10 match was found. Having regular maintenance treatment and infusions at the moment. Ok but the risk of infection is high. Your Dad was an incredibly brave and courageous person and an inspiration to me. You should be so proud of him and I am sure he was proud of you. I watched your father from the beginning of his journey, as my husband was on the same journey. My husband, unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, did not get to the point where he received his bone marrow transplant, he was just too weak to go through that process. I lost my husband on June 4, 2024 rest in peace Eddie, you are missed.
