Americans are losing their homes in the US -- and settlements in the West Bank are still /illegitimate per US law/. Why should Americans support settlers' ability to steal land from Palestinian farmers and have low cost housing? Our tax money is not even supposed to go toward enabling your system to subsidize settlements or supporting settlers. It's one thing to fight a group that invades your country -- but there's no basis for supporting 'freedom' to live off stolen land and receive US tax money for illegitimate settlements. I have Jewish heritage, too, and lived in Israel, once. Americans should also understand there should be NO support for settlements.
