Reem you are truly amazing ! I picked pile 3 with my Mother on my mind and it was very very spot on. Due to many unresolved traumas , my Mother has become obsessively controlling and very manipulative. She loves me very much and unfortunately if I stand my ground, she then exerts more excessive manipulation. I love her dearly but it has gotten so bad that I had to distance myself from her because of how much she was hurting me. When I came out to her as a lesbian, her world collapsed and she tried to “straighten me out”. The verbal and emotional abuse she inflicted on me was horrific. So horrific that I walked away. She then got diagnosed with terminal cancel and in spite of it all , I left my life and went home to take care of her. In spite of trying to do her every wish to make her comfortable: baking , cooking, cleaning , dressing her , everything she wanted , nothing was ever enough. After 4 months I had unintentionally lost 40 lbs and was ill everyday from her. I walked away from her for a little break and hell broke loose . The abuse was so bad : I put the cancer in her , I’m the reason she is dying and so on. She hated my spirituality and tried to mold me into only what she deemed right. All manipulation tactics . In the end I had to make the choice to walk away and cut off contact for good. It has been so hard . No one talks about grieving someone that is still alive :( Two years later, I’m happily married to a beautiful woman and embodying all that I am as a soul ❤️ In the hardest times in this journey - Reem your readings have helped give me strength and courage to trust and keep going.
