I've been watching the tv shows, but I've found these on you tube. You just don't HEAR this type of teaching anymore. Sadly, most televangelists preach self-help. I don't need self help! All I've done is help my self! I'm loving the preaching of the message of the Cross!

The message of the cross does not stop there. Jesus rose from the dead to give us life in abundance. We must rise from the old man and be a new creature in Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:23, Hebrews 12:14, James 4:4 Which is something that JSM does not preach or teach. Therefore, if Jimmy Swaggart and the entire leaders in this Ministry does not teach nor preach to Gods people to be deligente in removing your old ways and old lifestyles there will not be a place for you in Heaven. I believe JSM message is an error to keep people from maturing their spiritual lives. 2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect truly furnished unto all good works. Ephesians 4:22 That ye putt off the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lust and renew yourselves in the spirit of our minds, And dress yourselves with the new man, created according to God of justice and holiness of truth.

Avery Gill, Why does Jimmy Swaggart call himself an Evangelist, when he isn't. There are two Biblical accounts of what an Evangelist is. And that is Jesus and Philip, and they both had healings and miracles consistently. I have never seen Jimmy Swaggart do healings or miracles on a consistently. Also Jimmy Swaggart doesn't preach the full message of the cross. he only teaches One third of it.

Christ rising from the dead ,why powerful , is God's stamp of approval, that Christ payment at Calvarys cross long ago for our sins and salvation,was accepted , because it was a complete and perfect payment, at Calvarys cross long ago ,from a complete and perfect Savior the Lord Jesus Christ ( it is finished meaning complete and totally done Jesus cried out on calvarys cross long ago in john19vs30 ( and now according to Hebrews 12 vs2 Jesus at this moment is seated in heaven by the Fathers right hand, and just the fact Jesus sat down in heaven,says he doesn't need to get back up and die again, because he did it all once totally and completely at Calvarys cross long ago when he shead his blood for our sins , fully paying for whatever we need at Calvarys cross long rather it's salvation, forgiveness, healing, diilverance over sinful things etc,( Revealtion 12 vs11 they over came by the blood of the lamb) Colossians 2 vs14 Paul said at Calvarys cross Jesus nailed the broken ordinances ( ten commandments ) that was against us ( meaning because of Jesus and calvarys once we come to God in humble repentance and freely receive by faith what Jesus did at Calvarys cross the ten commandments lying steal , using God's name in vain , it's not held against us anymore and Christ purity becomes ours , which only applies to those that recieve Christ as Savior, otherwise the ten commandments our held against us,verse 15 of Colossians 2 Paul says it was at the cross Jesus defeated all principalities and powers ( Satan ,all fallen angels, and demon spirits) and made a show of them openly

Jimmy Swaggart expositor's 1 Tim 3:2 says about the qualifications (these are qualities, and not qualifications as some claim). Jimmy rewrites the bible. All of my bibles in captions call them qualifications. Jimmy Swaggart knows he isn't qualified because decades of chasing prostitutes and being unfaithful to his wife cannot be considered qualified according to 1 Tim 3:2. He is willing to desecrate the sacred words of the bible. Rev 22:18-19 I testify to everyone who hears the words of prophecy in this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. Thankfully, he does get people saved, but it doesn't qualify him to be pastor or church leader, according to 1 Tim 3:2. Jimmy still needs to repent.
