Thanks for the tips Drshti !! A Brilliant video and a very relatable one for sure !! I am quite an overthinker and I find this video very helpful and I'll definitely try one of those techniques especially the 5-4-3-2-1 technique since its a new one that I have heard of. 🔥🔥💯💯

Going through the darkest phase of my life... And this problem of overthinking is at its peak... raat me bed par... Classroom me... toilet me like everywhere... I'm just keep overthinking... I never know that I'm in this loop until one of my friend told me about it.. And then I realized that this problem is serious man... Hope this video help me to get out though it!!! 🥺😭

Few points that i read in a book called "How to stop worrying and start living " which i found helpful for me 1. Focus on the present instead of worrying about the past or future. 2. Divide Big problems into smaller doable bits. 3.Take action to address the issue instead of worrying. 3.Focus on the positive instaed of negative in any situation. 4.Accept that there are some things beyond your control. 5.Be grateful for what you already have , practice gratitude.

Thanks a lot Drishti, I was a school topper since kg, I used to get a top rank in school every year, then in college and university also I get good percentage overall, after 12th I dreamt something different from my friends and classmates, everyone went for engineering and medical , but I wanted to be a geologist since then, but now I am frustrated like hell, and I couldn't tolerate my failures though I know competitve exam mei sab logo ko time lagte hai but my topper wala childhood self poking me everyday. It feels like someone stole my talent from me. Today this video makes me feel happy for myself. Hope I will get over soon from this dark phase of my life and I will definitely try my best to fulfill my dream. Love you a lot Drishti❤

Hey Swarnali.... I also wanted to become A geologist.... I passed 12th in 2021 ... But due to lack of confidence and parents pressure for different path.. I dropped this idea... I took drop but due to health issues I didn't give any exam in 2022 And again took drop And came to kota But caught major health issues and due to which I couldn't study... Now My exams are just few days away and I cannot do anything.... Thinking of taking admission in biotech evs Or geology.... Can you tell me? How's geology course in terms of syllabus? Competitiveness etc??? If you then it will be of great help

As always loved the video :) Overthinking is a serious problem for real. It makes one live their life half. We miss out many happy real moments just because of some sad imaginary thoughts or situation. All we need to overcome that overthinking thing is to start IGNORING useless thoughts and start ACTING "Your duty is to ACT" Keep it up Drishti! All the methods you mentioned seems so good, I'm surely gonna try some of them whenever I will stuck in any overthinking loop 😄

If we are studying and our mind wants to see shorts just control your hands If u r eating unhealthy from continuous 3 days then control your taste And even you can control your overeating habit Sometimes we want to listen song just on loop just control it There are many and definitely u will not be able to see it in 1 week or two But definitely after 2 months hare Krishna

Diiii pranam🙏 mai 20 year ka hun or ssc ki preparation kr rha hu diii mijhe OCD hai (aas paas k jagahi ko baar baar saaf krte rhna ,din bhr saaf safai k baate mei sochna ,haath baar baar wash krna ,baar baar books ko system se lga kr rakhna , shoes ko system se lga kr rakhna etc) mere liye in sbme se niklna bahut he jyada jaruri hai for my family problems please diii Suggest mei how to get rid of this ocd

Firstly, it’s a perfect video for a over-thinker like me. Thanks to you for describing some simple techniques for overcoming or let’s just say to forget overthinking for sometime at least. Lots of attempts to try and progress in life are required especially in case of over-thinker. The technique 5,4,3,2,1 is quite good to come in presence. Because sometimes I feel very bad, for example someone types or asks me something and I’m not in zone and the person from other side is feels that I disrespect him/her. Actually you’ll find this strange but when I comment on any of your video I don’t overthink because I guess you read all kind of appropriate words and experiences and I don’t get confused. Thank you for making this video. It’ll help so many people to communicate to themselves or to tune with the life. Even it’ll help me to control my overthinking. Please if you ever upgrade yourself about with dealing overthinking, let us know.

Whenever I overthink I overthink of Extreme scenario like jab mujhe college exam ka tension aata hai toh mai sochta hu ki jayada se jyada kyahi hi bura ho jaega like mai fail ho jaega isse jyada toh kuch bura nhi ho sakta tha Then I think ki thik hai 15 din ke baad phirse exam de dunga It works for me

Thank you so much. I really needed this right now. I have been an overthinker since childhood. Now I am going through a surviving phase in my life. There was some incidents that shattered me . But now I slowly getting better and preparing for competitive exams. But this overthinking and fake scenarios in mind mind is controlling me and restricting me from my study . Thanks for the technics you mentioned here. I felt better immediately by trying it once. So I am gonna apply this in my life. Once again thank you.

Is there any single one like me who at any time listens to a song, i don't know what happens, mind (mann) just keeps repeating that song over and over again and again, and this particular problem plays kinda a major role in my sleeping issues especially at night... Is there anyone else like this, and if it is then come forward just like i did and yah what to do to deal with this?? By the way nice video Drishti... I will definitely learn something from this...

Mujhe books padhni hai lekin when i open a book usko padhne ka maan nhi krta mai bas khreedta hu ek ya 2 page padh ke padhna band kr deta hu lekin mujhe padhna bhi hai uske andar ki knowledge bhi gain krni hai but maan nhi krta so what can i do any solutions??

Idk about other things but writing down thoughts on paper really works for me and I'm gonna try that 5,4,3,2,1 rule if i can remember this when I'll be overthinking. And as you said that overthinking kabhi jati nhi toh mtlb puri life mai overthink kruga cheezo ko leke. But i feel kabhi kabhi overthinking helps you with deciding certain think correctly. I was overthinking at night yesterday and yes I just let myself overthink because I knew those thoughts won't stay for long I had a walk outside and after like 15min I went to sleep.

i was stuck in overthinking every moment. when i gave rest to myself at that time my brain recalls all incidents happened between me and her.. we had breakup and still my mind doesn't endeavour to forget her... seriously I'm in dire... only pillows know how much pain she gave my heart.,.... Now the things I'm doing is condemning her in my brain. Making I'm superior to her please advise something i do to stop overthinking

🎉Bahte vichar maan me itni teji se bahte hai ki maan Or dimag me baad la dete hai , jo maan sant hone per pata chalta hai ki kitna nuksan hua hai(Time ka, relation, or money ka). As My experience jab bi overthinking ho to share your that feeling whats you really feeling (whats problem hurt you, PINCH you) and WRITE the problem which PINCH in paper. overthinking always comes but we overcome it, after it when mind feel calm do your responsibility action first which only important that today, then regret or over thinking will down. 😅

I think I am seeing myself in mirror, been browsing ur handle it feels like everybody is in this toxic positivity, confusion, manifestation but then thinking tht everything unexpected pops up, seeing horoscopes😂, finding possibilities tht any magic spells can figure some of the circumstances, one more similarity tht I had also been reading a lot of books tryin to apply some mantras but nothing works out completely😅. It sometimes is hard to find balance nd peace, but hats off to all in journey, experiencing nd getting exposures to become best versions of ourselves ❤

Thankyou Drishti.. i slept better yesterday, felt as if someone from far understood exactly what overthinking is in a manner even I hadn't figured it out! Thankyou for your appropriate content. I have been better able to deal with my overthinking pattern after your video! I inculcated fear due to fake scenarios and catastrophic thinking and wasted so much of my precious time due to that. My relationship with myself and others suffered. My memory took so much unnecessary load. And it was a major cause of my unhappiness all this while. Really thankyou, you saved some good years of mine and helped me to better my relationships as well :)

Right now in my life my biggest battle is with overthinking which I lose everyday. Content banate waqt bahot musibat hoti because hamesha fear rehta hai ki content work karega ya nahi. I have searched millions of times about overthinking but no one has ever made me understood like you did through this video. Also you are the only one who provided with actual techniques to overcome overthinking. Keep making videos like this. 💯

Hi Drishti di, am also Drishti😊.....aapne kaafi aacha samjhaya really helpful....mai ek new line mey hu Btech k....malum hi nhi keyse aage badhte hai aur kya karte hai...toh kaafi mushkil hota hai tackle karna....but i ll try to not overthink and just focus on present......aur sabse best hai last ka jo aapne khud ko bola.....laga ki aapne mujhe hi bola.....thank you and pls make more such videos ❤❤

Hey I was in a dark phase of my life almost 6 months...then I changed too much things in my lifestyle. Yeah I started gym, yoga , meditation and also care on my diet and I managed my sleep cycle better. Then I almost okay but sometime I don't know I feel depressed without any reason and at that time mera wo dark phase yadd ati hai and feeling like looser bcz my I can't stop my overthinking.😢

Mai jaha tak samjh paya hun kuch logo ke liye overthinking se nikalne ke liye pleasure mai chal Jate hai to kuch log kisiko ko dhoondne lagte to kuch ko masturbation karte to kuch log ro dete hai lekin in sb mai ek cheez common hai ki ye sb escape kar rahe hai us situation se. Aur eik bat yaad aati hai SANDEEP SIR ki ki koi wajah hai hi nhi upset aur dukhi hone ki be happy Aur ye accept Karo ki I am suffering jabhi isse bahar nikalne ka confidence aayega

Me apne career ko lekr bhut overthink krta hu.. ek ye bhi kaaran hai k mere pas free time bhi us condition me hota hai jahan me kuch khas kr bhi nhi pata..like apni shop pr bethna aur wait krte rhna kb customer ayega.. so us time me bhut overthink krta hu apne career, relationship, will I be able to handle after-marriage life, health.. aur me aalsi bnta ja rha hu pichle 7-8 years se.. fatigue aa chuka hai.. dimag thk chuka hai k what to do in life
