We must remember.... those that hate Jesus are not our brothers. I love all people, from all nations. We should. But salvation only comes thru Christ. This video made that very clear. The Temple was destroyed by Christ. The body of Christ replaced the Temple. He FULFILLED the Levitical Law so that ALL nations could receive remission of sins. Acts 10 Jews need to spend this time reading their own book to see Jesus Christ as their Messiah. His blood floods their scriptures. Otherwise they are doomed.

My mother just passed away in Israel. She was born Jewish, but enjoyed all culture and the teachings of peace. She was considered an underground prophet who helped others a lot. Usually on Christmas, We would always go to Bethlehem and pray where Jesus was born. My mother was very spiritual, long dark hair/Middle Eastern tan , a soft face, always giving and helping people of ENOURMOUS power. I am fully Jewish but was taught to love Jesus Christ and his teachings. God Bless you all and have HAPPY HOLIDAYS! MERRY Christmas!

There are many prophecies yet to be fulfilled. Including the most important one.... “So it will be when all of these things have come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have placed before you, and you call them to mind in all the nations where the Lord your God has scattered you, 2 and you return to the Lord your God and obey Him with all your heart and soul in accordance with everything that I am commanding you today, you and your sons, 3 then the Lord your God will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you. 4 If any of your scattered countrymen are at the ends of the earth, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you back. 5 The Lord your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and He will be good to you and make you more numerous than your fathers. 6 “Moreover, the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the hearts of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul, so that you may live.

Used to do Hanukkah until finding out this: Ezra 6:15-16 has 2nd Temple dedicated in Hebrew 12th month Adar, which is on Gregorian calendar late Feb-about 3rd week of March. This hits before the spring equinox so it's still winter (for John 10:11 with Yeshua's temple porch visit), but NOT December/kislev. Then, the qumran Dead Sea scrolls point out in the commentary of Nahum (minor prophet in Old testament), that Yah God wouldn't let the Greek kings enter/harm Jerusalem from Antiochus 1 through the Kittim/Romans, which are the ones that ruined/destroyed the 2nd Temple. This is exactly as Yeshua prophesied where their house would be left onto them desolate. So, if the Grecian kings weren't allowed to desecrate the 2nd temple, and Ezra 6:15 clearly states that the dedication/Hanukkah of that 2nd Temple happened in Adar, not Kislev/December, what is actually being celebrated for present-day "Hanukkah"?? Do some research folks
@samueljennings4809 Жыл бұрын
@purplepink5630 Hannukah happened centuries after the events of Ezra, so that comparison doesn’t fit. It is about the Maccabeans, not about the time of Ezra but rather long after his lifetime.
@purplepink5630 Жыл бұрын
@@samueljennings4809 again you didn't read my post, it's not just about the actual dedication of the 2nd temple in Adar, not kislev, but ALSO that Nahum Commentary in the qumran Dead Sea scrolls point out that NO GREEK KING was allowed by God to enter to desecrate the temple or even Jerusalem UNTIL the Romans/Kittim. I used to celebrate Hanukkah so I know what I'm talking about and you not reading my full post and jumping to comment without fully addressing the points I made was not wise. Make sure you have actually researched whether the book of Maccabees and what's contained in it actually happened vs what the dead sea scrolls actually recorded, before commenting.
@messagesofChrist Жыл бұрын
We appreciate you taking the time to watch! Thank you.
@samueljennings4809 Жыл бұрын
@purplepink5630 I might have misunderstood your argument at first, my apologies. So I looked up the Nahum commentary and it seems that it just mentions that no Greek will conquer Jerusalem. Not necessarily that there won’t be foreigners who wouldn’t try, but that they would not succeed. Antiochus never conquered Jerusalem, nor did his descendants. Now, there are debates as to how much of the traditional tale is legend but Josephus does seem to corroborate most of the story. You have raised some good points though, so I’ll do some more research into the matter. So is it the entire event of the Maccabean revolt that you are questioning, or the traditional version told at Hannukah?
@samueljennings4809 Жыл бұрын
@purplepink5630 Also, taking a look at the reference in John, John 10:22-23, the Feast of Dedication is dated to wintertime. So maybe the events of the real revolt could have been slightly different from the traditional telling? I find it hard to get past the Bible dating this feast in the winter.

@@messagesofChrist Have you considered making videos about where your faith diverges from pre-American Christianity in its doctrines, dogmas, disciplines, and teachings?
@messagesofChrist Жыл бұрын
@@SylvEdu I have. Two issues. First, I have so much I want to share about the life of Christ, and I feel that is the most important thing I can do. I very much hope to help others know Jesus. Second, when I have put even a single word in a video (like this one) I always know I will get a lot of comments telling me I don't believe in Jesus, that I'm not saved, and that I can't be forgiven because of my faith. It is hard to see that so many have very strong animosity towards my belief and want to tell me I don't believe in Christ. I would hope my Messages of Christ show otherwise. Yet, that does not happen. But maybe one day. My first goal is though to cover every major event of the life of Christ in video. Once that is done (if I ever can finish) then I might do something like that. But again, my purpose and biggest hope, is to help people better know Christ.

@@messagesofChrist As far as I'm aware, all Christians enjoy your expositions on the Old Testament and the Messages of Christ insofar as the content conforms to the canonized Old and New Testaments. The problems that people have with Mormonism are with "The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ" and the disciplines of your church which deviate from the canon of scripture and dogmas of the Church.
@messagesofChrist Жыл бұрын
@@SylvEdu Have you ever read the Book of Mormon? Honestly, I'm not trying to get preachy here. If you have not, I'm more interested to know if your perspective of saying that the Book of Mormon does not conform with canonized Old and New Testament because you have read it, or because someone told you that? I have actually read it, and for me, I find it powerfully testifies of things in the Bible. I don't see the conflict between the two books. For me, it is a powerful second witness of Christ. No question in my mind, the Bible is where we learn of the life of Christ. And I hope people see that I believe strongly and firmly in the Bible. And I should note, thanks for your honest and kind responses. I was concerned about this video, and you show that two people of different faiths can have a meaningful conversation. Jesus Yeshua was a practicing Jewish man so He would've indeed celebrated Hanukkah. Jesus loved the temples aka synagogues as it was a house of worship. When Jesus Yeshua saw in the temple where there buying and selling of doves etc, He was angry and overturned the tables in Mark 11:17. Jesus said: "Is it not written My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations? But you have made it a den of thieves." Temples and synagogues are seen as house of worship.

Nothing against Hanukkah, but the Bible doesn't say Jesus "celebrated" Hanukkah. That is only left to speculation. The Bible only says that He preached during that time. Just because Jesus was a Jew does not mean He engaged in everything Jewish, at least during his ministry. If it was important for us to celebrate Jewish festivities, I believe the Bible would say so. Rather, the Bible is clear on Christ being the center of all things. So unless one is celebrating something in light of Christ and not to be more...well Jewish in the flesh or by works, that's one thing. However the Bible does speak of situations where Jesus seemed to defy Jewish tradition all to bring about a greater spiritual truth. I am not suggesting He did not engage in Jewish custom and culture, I am simply saying that we need to take the scripture for what they say and not add in what they do not. The fruit can lead to people basing their sense of holiness more on tradition rather than application of revelation in Christ and not putting any other culture on a faulty pedestal.
@roytofilovski9530 Жыл бұрын
There is ample evidence in the Gospels that Christ was an observant Jew. Christian teaching tells us that God came to us in human form AS A JEW, so the idea that He somehow generally ignored Jewish law is ridiculous.

Jesus had to go through what he did so we could be saved. Mormonism isn't the same as other denominations. They break the model of the trinity which is heresy.
@JD-pr1et Жыл бұрын
No. We just accept the three individual beings of scripture rather that the addition of the One of Plato which was added to, and in some ways replaced scripture in the 4th century which started the invention of the metaphysical Trinity concept that continued development over the next 1000 years. John 17 also negates a metaphysical numerical oneness that was added without apostolic authority in the 4th century.

@JD-pr1et Жыл бұрын
Sad to hear. The Gospel teaches us not to be cliquish, and land on the side of life and personal accountability for our actions.
@messagesofChrist Жыл бұрын
Most "Mormons" are actually Republicans and are very opposed to abortion. But that really is exactly my point of the video. The people wanted to stick a label on Jesus. Are you the Messiah? And he would not answer them. He wanted to teach them to look beyond labels that we create, and instead he focuses over and over on what makes someone who they are. It is not a label. It is if they do the works of the Father. I'm sorry you have neighbors that maybe are not the perfect example. But I would encourage you to not judge an entire group of people by one family. Instead, judge a people by their works. Do they do the works of the Father. I try my best to serve, lift, and love others. I try to follow Christ. Do I fail, yes. But I hope that people can see me for who I am, not for some label. That would also include Democrat and Republican. Jesus does not see a label when he judges us. He does not judge us simply because we have an R or a D, or any other label. He looks at our heart. That is what I hope people would get out of the video.
@enginorian Жыл бұрын
I do not know why you had to add mormonism to the other denominations. They literally deny the unique divinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are quite literally a heresy by definition.
@messagesofChrist Жыл бұрын
You seem to prove my exact point of the video. Sadly, many in the world only want to see people by the label they have. The people in this story wanted to pin Jesus down as "the Messiah" and he would not let them. He taught that the label did not matter. What mattered is do you do the works of the Father? Do you serve others? Do you help and lift and love? Jesus won't even answer them about "his label" because he says what proves who he is, is not just some name. It is what he does. I seek to serve others. I try to be like Jesus. And while I fail, and always come up short, my constant goal is to be like him. Everything I do, I hope will point others to him. For me, I am more concerned about following Christ and doing the works of the Father, than just slapping a label on and saying I'm good.
@enginorian Жыл бұрын
I appreciate that but we should not compromise with key doctrine, just like hpw the apostles did not tolerate the gnostics. It does not matter how good you live when you don't truly point to Jesus. A Hindu may be good and think that Jesus was one of the many Gods of thr world. Mormons believe that they themselves can become gods, believing Jesus and Satan are brothers. I think it is a wolf in sheeps clotheing.

The Nicene Creed denies the true nature of God as taught in the Bible. How can we KNOW God if he is unknowable? It is the creedists who will be condemned by Christ for heresy. John 17:3; Matthew 25:12; which in the JST reads " You never knew me"

Neither is christ mass, christmas was "Christianized" by them, Jesus didn't start the catholic church nor did all these things come from around the 3rd/4th century, or Yeshua's birthday and resurrection and ascension, these things tie back to ancient Babylon, we are still in Babylon, people are not going to know who is the real 1 who comes back 1st, it's Satan for he is the antichrist.

WOW…I AM IN COMPLETE DISBELIEF THAT THIS FALSE TEACHING IS REALLY OUT THERE🤦🏽♀️ YESHUA SAID HE IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD DOES NOT MEAN HE CELEBRATED THE HOLIDAY CREATED BY MAN. DO MORE OF YOUR RESEARCH AND YOU WILL FIND THAT HANNUKAH IS NOT BIBLICAL FEAST TO BE CELEBRATED BY HIS SET APART PEOPLE.
@messagesofChrist Жыл бұрын
I'd encourage you to do a bit more research. John 10:22 states: "And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter." Note the NIV translation: "It was now winter, and Jesus was in Jerusalem at the time of Hanukkah, the Festival of Dedication." What other "feast" happens in winter? The Feast of Tabernacles happens in the fall, not winter. And if there is any question, look up any commentary on the Bible and it will say the Feast of Dedication is Hanukkah. It is not Biblical, that is correct, as in it is not in the Old Testament, but Jesus still celebrated it. And I agree, Jesus is the light of the world. But that says nothing of him not celebrating Hanukkah, or the feast of Dedication.
