Genesis 6 says ; he angel of the LORD also said to her: "You are now with child and you will have a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the LORD has heard of your misery. He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers.

I broke when God provided the ram for the sacrifice, symbolic representation of Yeshua as the ultimate sacrifice for the sin of the world. The whole story of Abraham is my favorite. From the time he left Ur and got to the land of Canaan he was faithful, but still made mistakes, yet God said, he was "the friend of God" in the Bible. How incredible! If you don't have it already, there is a book called, 'Patriarchs and Prophets', by Ellen G. White. It has the story of Abraham using several chapters. It's absolutely captivating. Abraham didn't tell Sarah though. He had to have compassion for her heart and her faith or growth of such. She is mentioned in Hebrews 11 though, which is pretty telling in itself.
