There are also other Mule connectors that might fit this overall usecase (but hey, only limited time to talk in a video): AMQP, Kafka, file/FTP/SFTP/FTPS (if dropping a file counts as "messaging"), IBM MQ (which is essentially a specialised JMS connector equivalent), SQS, Microsoft Service bus and others.. They will have a set of operations and/or event sources to allow communication to/from.
