This is not something you can learn. It 's a blessing. He is the only one besides Maradonna who is able to control the ball perfectly at any speed. Even the great Pele had to slow down and "sort his legs" sometimes, but the 2 guys from Argentina. And Messi has a world class accelleration.According to ESPN he accellerates with the Ball as fast as a world class sprinter without. His first coach said. During his very first game as a child(he was just a replacement from the Audience as the team didnt had enough players iirc) Messi let the first Ball he got pass as he didnt knew what to do. After they told him,he got the ball and made a goal. From that day on he used to make 5-7 goals per game for this team. If you make 5-7 goals in Handball you'll be considered a top talent, but in Handball there is a Magnitude more goals per game. He is probably the most dominant player in Team Sports history besides Wilt Chamberlain (He is a mile ahead of CR7 in Overall stats. Who scored.com are analysing those stats and it is literally impossible to reach a 8.0 rating. Happens once every few years - Messi is regularly above 8.0 . At the end of last year he was ahead of no2 Mbappe by the same margin Mbappe was ahead of no 100)

One of the comments said, “Messi is a blessing for MLS.” I would say, “He’s a blessing for us all.” If Messi ran for President of the United States, he would win. Millions would overlook ethnicity and vote for his integrity, intelligence, determination and fairness. He cares about the team’s success, not just his own goals. The joy he and his team share with each other after a goal by any of them is a tribute to them and joy for us. It’s not what he does, but what he is, that brings a smile of appreciation. I fear they may try to hurry his recovery to get him back on the field, but it is Messi that matters - not the game nor its profits. Words cannot express my gratitude when I watch him and his team. There is just a deep “Thank you.”

The man is not that big and with a low center of gravity it is difficult to get onto his body without it looking like violence. His ball handling is magical and it seems as if it is not something he concentrates on at all. He has a special split vision ability that very very few have ever performed. In addition, he is an extremely effective finisher who rarely misses the target. With age he has lost some of his quickness but seems to make up for it by being in the right places even more. You have to have a stepmotherly approach to football if you don't enjoy seeing both the difficult and the seemingly easy being done so beautifully.

It is not difficult to impress the MLS, they were never exposed to Prime football. Imagine what Messi or Ibrahimovic would have done there at their prime. I was expecting Football (Soccer) to pick up in the US after the 90s World Cup they hosted but some smart brains have said “the US has no place for one additional sport” I like all sort of sports but there is always something special about football (soccer)

If it’s Easy to play in MLS so take the ball and go play in the field. Today the soccer in usa is professional.It’s not Calcio,or Spanish liga or English premier league but MLS Can rivalised with anyone average championship in Europe like Switzerland,Grece,Russia or Portugal. Messi impressed because is the best not because the soccer level is average

I'm from Argentina I used to play soccer mid 90s and I used to go every Sunday to see matches at River Plate stadium, "Great Matches" not only one guy "Messi" Dancing everybody. I saw so many kids play like Messi, but sometimes was no opportunities available, to be able to play on a big team in Argentina, kids needed to have some good contacts, otherwise even kids with talent were unseen, was some real talent on the streets back then, I now live in the US so I don't know now. I mentioned this because I see people so amazed with Messi, looks like they never saw a talented guy playing saccer, and I know is Messi chill out, I just wanted to share my thoughts.

Personally, I saw the same domince by Messi, what he did against the best defender in that WC in semis or his performance vs Australia in 1/8 and if we will use the same logic = those teams were mediocre?!? Ya, MLS is not that good as a Premier League or La Liga, is just Messi is tooo good.... And he showed this through the last 17-18 years. WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THE GREATEST PLAYER OF ALL TIME?!?

Plenty of high profile Europeans who went to MLS didn't perform well at all. So it certainly isn't easy and certainly not a given. Also, MLS is far from bottom league as far as rating goes. Obviously you just want to hate on Messi, might want to get your facts straight when you try to

@@choosetolivefree you are so wrong on your statement. 1. i like how messi play is just this is the retirment league where low profile players could perform. so for a legend like messi is reallly really easy. last time i was playing agains 4 semipro soccer players alone . and i win agains them IM NOT GOOD AT ALL AT SOCCER in my country but over here im like god. so i know by fact the soccer here is soooo low level. 2 the europeans you name came when they cannot compete . good players on their prime yes but they came to the states at the age of 40 when no body wants them . again is a easy league
@choosetolivefree Жыл бұрын
@@jorgeluisgarcia6169 Yes, it is a retirement league for elite players. Which is why Messi is there, he's 36, he won't be able to compete much longer. I'm sure MLS is easier than playing in La Liga or even League 1 for Messi, but calling it simple isn't accurate. You said anyone looks special in MLS, of course you meant anyone who has competed at elite levels. But it simply is not true. Plenty of players who competed at elite levels came to MLS and did not look special at all. I mean, Inter Miami's current all time top goal scorer is a prior elite level player, Higuan, and Messi is going to crush that record, he's already half way to setting the new record as all time top goal scorer, and he's just getting started. That is remarkable, don't care what you say. It's clear it doesn't matter where Messi is, he will always look special. He is in a world of his own in world football, absolutely on top with all of his accomplishments.
