@@scottanderson1014 i hear you brother scott being a teenage christian in 80s it was denim and heavy rock i thought i was stuck with few choices like Don Francisco and Amy Grant until my mate brought Messiah Prophet to youth group . This whole album is the best . love the build up of Psalms 23 , Hit and Run etc . They were my fav, but yeah Baron Cross, Blood Good , Stryper etc. Praise the Lord from Australia

Man, this brings back some memories. This was one of the first metal bands I got into (alongside Bloodgood, Deliverence and Barren Cross). And while I may be an atheist now as a grizzled mid-30's adult, this music still rocks! Great post!

i was a big kiss fan. when I got saved I smashed everything Then A friend of mine turned me on to these classic christian metal bands. when i heard messiah prophet i was like wow musically they sound like kiss and on top of that they glorify God then I heard Barren Cross White cross and I was blown away I can Love Jesus And Rock My bass to righteous metal!!! My brother and I loved this. We used to rock it load and piss off the parents. one day, about 15 years later, we were listening to this with some buddies and they were liking this. Then at the end of the song....Jesus is MAster of the Metal...did he say Jesus? We were like,.yeah he did. All this time , we had no idea Messiah Prophet was a christian heavy metal band.
