Thanks for your message, Dr. Willimon! You and Dr. Hauerwas wrote one the most important works for me in "Resident Aliens." In 2012 I suffered a brain aneurism that nearly killed me. I was in a coma for 4 weeks. When I regained consciousness, I said about my wife of 17 years, I said, "I'm not sure who she is, but I think I like her a lot." (And no, I don't remember saying this!). In 2013, the congregation I was serving when I got sick hosted a 'Celebration Service' that was filmed and posted onto KZbin under "Charles Frank Kurtz." Peace!
