Hey, Barbara. Love what the water, ink, texture paste, stencils and embossing accomplish! And the freedom to throw perfectionism and preciousness out the window. Great stress management exercise for loosening up. Can't wait to see what you do next. 💖

I watched your video, and then coloured my own papers. I used some distressed crayons as I didn't have a lot of colours in the sprays. I must say I was quite shocked about my colours, so quickly went about making some more coffee paper, just incase I couldn't use them for this project. But when they dried, a complete different story. I loved them. And the bonus is all the spare coffee paper I made. Thank you for a fun lesson.

Love these enhanced pages & especially the gorgeous inky messy blend of those first ones 💕 My favourites are the one that looks like fire, the multi-coloured dandelion, the bee pages, the speckled egg dotty… ok I love them all 🤷‍♀️ And the gold looks ah-mazing!!!! And they’re neutral’ish… relatively speaking … compared to a peacock 🦚 😁

I absolutely love it when you try new things for us! The texture paste is a great technique for embossing powder. The candy apple red embossing on the floral page is beautiful! Yes don't waste that mess! Neutral? Erhhhm 🤔😄. I love how different papers react. They sound so good too. Baby powder+gesso=soft structure paste too 😊. I like using wall filler. That was awesome! Some of that process was over the top, but super interesting out come. I do like the texture of your new paste, it reminds me of velvet or corduroy. I don't know what your dear friend likes, but you do, so no worries, she will love all the time and details you put into this journal!! I will see your journal from her, when you do!!❤

This was such a fun video, I really enjoyed watching you play with the reinkers and I fell in love with the results so much that I am going to do this technique. What surprised me was that the papers didn't desintegrate with so much liquid! 😂 I have a little tip for you, in case you don't know it: when you were embossing the glazes, in one page the additional gold didn't stick you so used your embossing pen. Instead of that, you can reheat what you already have and add more embossing glaze where you want it. Just wait until it has cooled again to shake the residue powder before you put heat to the stenciled and embossed area so it glazes over. This method is also helpful for when you want a chunkier embossing and you don't have extra thick embossing powder. 😊 The candied apple was a true surprise for me, I wasn't expecting that color but I think it worked for the page you used it in; now I can't wait for Luise's reaction to the not-so-neutral-but-beautiful-pages you have created. Thank you for all the inspiration!

Hi Barbara, I’ve been down a watercolour rabbit hole recently so have been saving your videos for a binge. I love using up all the paint on my brush & discovered a super cool technique that looks like smoke trails. Have quite watery paint on a round brush (any size, but I found about a size 4 or 6 works well) & on a smooth piece of copy paper, just drag the brush up the page in an irregular trail, rolling the brush while you do it. Go over it roughly (but don’t worry about keeping to the exact line as that helps with the wispy effect) & just keep making rolling trails of watery paint. I use a thicker copier paper & would work on smooth cardstock too. And as the colour comes off, the smoky effect becomes more wispy. Very fun! 😁 Carrie

Amazing work! Wonderful! Once when we were coffee staining some papers, a few ripped almost in half. When they dried, I "repaired" the rips with a zigzag stitch. They ended up looking really fun and had a grunge factor to them as well.

GENIAL, einfach genial, neutral sieht vielleicht ein bisschen anders aus😂😂😂, aber was du da in deinem dich nicht zu bremsenden Flow hin gezaubert hast, ist tatsächlich toll. Naja und die liebe Luise wäre nicht unsere Luise, wenn sie diese Herausforderung nicht mit Bravour wieder meistern wird. Ich würde zu gerne ihre Reaktion kennen, als sie dieses Video gesehen hat, welches ja von Beginn ein großes Vergnügen bereitet hat bis hin zum jetzigen Resultat. Eigentlich müsste ihr zumindest der Löffel oder was auch immer aus der Hand gefallen sein. Aber es war einfach zu geil, wie dich dein Flow mitgerissen hat. 😂 Toll!!! 🎉🎉🎉❤
