(messy!) Pantry to guest room makeover

Bonjour!
Since we're welcoming friends and family in the coming months and we don't have a proper guest room during this round of renovations, I am turning a messy space we currently use as our pantry into a guest room. A no budget makeover with left over paint and using what I have but I am still quite happy with the result!
I am also taking you along on a day with my colleagues from The Netherlands who I am showing my beautiful region. Hope you enjoy this one!

Yes I know! I could have taken that off but people only use that corner to put their clothes on until now. It's only temporary and this space will be renovated and turned into a bathroom in the future and will all the projects we're doing I try to keep any little upgrades as minimal effort as possible :) But thanks for pointing that out!

Please show us how you decided to deal with the window treatment in the Cook's Cottage. Also if you can, it would be great if you could give a tour of the whole house some time. Thanks! It is hard to do a full tour right now with all the building works but I'll keep you updated on any progress. I think we'll go for shutters that you just put on the floor in front of the window/door (a "paravent" in French).

I've been following the renovation of a French chateau and the windows have both indoor and outdoor shutters. The indoor shutters fold within the recessed space and have 2 partitions on each side. Just thought I'd mention this.

I love yellow!! but not that bright or a more mustard yellow. I had blues for years my husband favorite then I went green for a change. Then we moved to a small rancher and it was too dungeony so needed some sunshine lol good job on the refresh though

Lovely makeover Marloes! The petrol blue goes so well with the soft pink. The colours of that beautiful tiled roof are so reminiscent of the patchwork of vibrant colours in the vineyards. Such gorgeous craftsmanship.
