Somebody asked about the number of bonds between the correlated atoms (13'00'' and 13'45''). Just for clarification please note that we count the number of bonds between the heavy atoms as shown in the MCD. For example, a 1-bond C-C connectivity = 3-bond H-H connectivity from the COSY exp, and 1 or 2-bond C-C connectivity = 2 or 3-bond H-C connectivity from the HMBC exp.

Great video and useful software, but I have one question, what if I do not know yet about the molecular formula, because I just have 1D and 2D spectra, and from those, I have to propose what the structure is going to be. Do I still have to write something? like an expected molecular formula, thank you in advance

Does it ever 'give up'? I've tested it with a fairly complex molecule, Rotenone, and it never seems to find a structure. It would be interesting and possibly helpful to see it's progress to possibly help it.
