Savage123 Özil is just as good and even better in terms of passing as he is the record holder of assists in Europe eventhough he didn't play with a world class striker for 3 years now and he also created most chances last season. Özil is the number one in assists since 2008 ahead of Messi and Riquelme, Messi is the more complete package, allmost just as good as Mesut at playmaking but scores way more goals, more pace, better shooting, better dribbling etc. but as i said, Mesut is the best passing playmaker for me while Messi is simply the most complete package and alongside CR by far the very best players in the world
