also! if you liked Malibu and the restaurant on the beach, you should check out The Strand House in Manhattan Beach. Lovely seating and a view from their windows if they put you in the right place. I go there whenever my visitors come into town since it's not too far from the airport and I live in the Valley (meaning that's their only time to see the beach cuz...traffic).

OMG! Why did you move to L.A. ? I was born and raised in Long beach, California, which is near L.A. but I moved to Europe 5 years ago and my life is so much healthier and safer. I saw your Channel when I was living in France briefly and it was so fun to see another Black American stepping out of the box. I hate to say this, but once the newness of L.A. wears off you will want to return to Europe, the quality of life in America Sucks!
