I love this, the only thing I would say about Benedict Cumberbatch's look is that for the 2014 Met Gala they decided for once to give the men a little challenge by making the men's dress code "white tie". This created the hilarity of male celebrities freaking out about it and even going to designers like Tom Ford and asking if the 'decorations ' that men can wear were stuff like christmas baubles. Benedict Cumberbatch was praised for basically being the ONLY guy to get the white tie dress code spot on. The others just half arsed it or didn't bother which disappointed me as I finally wanted a year where the guys are not just wearing basic dinner jackets and trousers. I love your stuff and it's getting me through my physics phd, plus I can actually keep up with my best friend who works at a major fashion magazine in london. Xx

In addition I think Neil Patrick Harris and his husband, Dave Burtka, did an impressive job on a new take on white tie. Unfortunately the rest didn't really get the message, which annoyed me as white tie looks so good when done right and all these guys had the time and money to do white tie correctly.

i feel like his suit is also very end of 19th and beginning of 20th century's men fashion inspired, which is really cool, because i feel like the men who do wear more vintage inspired clothing (or just vintage looking) are fashion historians, and men interested in wearing vintage fashion every day i feel like i dont see enough men celebrities exploring the different silhouettes and shapes of their fashion history, and tend to stick to the tuxedos most commonly seent nowadays

I’d forgotten all about Kendall wearing that dress! Or topshop at the met gala at all. I was interning with the topshop design team during the making of the dresss. It was made by their regualr pattern room team. They also dressed jourdan Dunn, Chanel Iman and someone else I can’t remeber!
