the theme was based off of a short story about a wealthy couple shutting themselves away from the "lesser people" in society and using all the natural resources (their garden) at their disposal to better their own lives. less of an actual "garden" theme, more of a "beauty is dwindling because of our own selfish desires" theme.

The Theme is Sleeping Beauties. And the dress code is Garden of Time, you have to follow the dress code. The theme doesn’t need to be followed that’s why most people did Garden of Time
@leahb11788 ай бұрын
Beyond just garden and time - the sub themes are Land, Sky, Sea. It's why we see looks like Jennie Kim's deep blue dress with the pearls, and some fish scale looks. Also, the garden in the short story was full of transparent, crystalline, glass flowers, and we see that represented in quite a few looks too. I love the gilded roses on several looks, especially the details on Stray Kid's buttons, and Sam Smith's jacket. Most people went with the literal garden but there were many looks that weren't so obvious but still on theme. And then there were those that were just boring af lol

I think some of the looks do actually fit the theme based on the story of "The Garden of Time". Sabrina Harrison's dress for example, fit the theme in my opinion because in the story each time the character breaks off a crystal flower, they are buying themselves more time before their impending doom. So the theme isn't just the garden aspect. (I know it's just a fun roast but wanted to add some context in case anyone was curious!! 🙂 It's a good story and pretty short so you should give it a read! 😄)
