Hi ING Nederland, I was an expat in the Netherlands with a Dutch bank account in your esteemed bank. Before returning to my home country I visited the branch where I opened the account to learn the process to close the account. I was told I will be able to close the account online. My employer had advised to keep the account open for a couple of months for settling any dues. However, after settlement I did not immediately close the account. Then I had to reset my phone and could not sign into the app any longer as I had forgotten both the username and password. If I request for the credentials the only way they are delivered is by post and do not live at the address anymore. I am afraid if the account is still open and accruing charges. I do not want any complications if I happen to visit the Netherlands in future. Kindly help.
