I found that the course was really helpful, but some of the links, github repositories, and one of their API's we were supposed to use were not available. You do have to work around these issues.

@@eanerickson1968 OK, I wanted to know does it really open opportunities for learners? And do I keep access to courses after I finished it? Also is there a final exam to see if you really deserve the certificat or is it just quiz and peer to peer exercises as for the other courses in the path?

@@LibertarianForever I think it's worth it. I had heard from a recruiter that the Meta certificates are one of the things they look for, which is why I started it. As far as the end of the coursez there's a final exam and a peer to peer grading for the Capstone Project. Just don't waste your time trying to use their API on that project since it's inactive now.

Not sure. I think with the current market condition you should have more. But it depends on the position you apply for, the company, and how good you are at a tech interview.

@@jorgearpi its worth it in the sense of adding to your resume if you find correlating courses to your study. Your degree after your studies should get you a job and the certs will help you stand out against other resumes along with projects

I'm assuming youre a beginner and answering this: It really does not matter what device you have unless you have too many complex things going on. For getting started, any device is good enough. Certainly as you get to a more advanced level, you should maybe try upgrading to a better laptop that can handle stuff :) Happy learning!

The course is technically free, but the Shareable Certificate costs money. You'll be paying the monthly fee of Coursera + which is $60 US. If you want something to show off, then you'll have to pay, otherwise no.
