You should have mentioned the fire rate differences, the 50 rpm more is still considerable to performance

I loved the mutant and i still think it looks better, but gave the rd a try for a couple of raids and it felt really good, and for its price i think it will be my choice for 7.62x39. For a next video, you should also include hidden weapon stats (dispersion, convergence), those change the weapon a lot. And dont forget about rpm, mutant is 650 while rd is 600, can make a difference in ttk

I did actually consider speaking about the hidden stats and RPM, however I ended up taking it out of the video since I figured most people wouldn't care about it, and it made the video twice as long, but I am super glad you like the RD, I've been having a blast with it too! I will admit, the mutant does look cooler though haha. As for the TTK on both, the RD was 3.0 seconds for 30 rounds, vs the mutant's 2.77 seconds for 30 rounds, so I figured it wasn't a big change, but I definitely see your point! Mutant or RD-704? EDIT: Lowest recoil Mutant has the RSASS handguard, I made a mistake on that, however it shouldn't drastically change the results.

This is my first wipe and I am really close to unlock the rd-704, and thought should I do the Silent caliber taskline to get the mutant and you answered it great and fast. Good video.

Not to mention the mutant is harder to unlock by far right now. I still haven't unlocked it. Suck at interchange and I'm stuck on the quest where you have to kill people at night lol. Not sure if accessibility will change next wipe (already did this one) or not, but the rd being available at level 3 mechanic is a great balancing for people like me that don't know all the maps that well. Having something to compete with the mutant as a relatively causal solo is fuckin awesome

The mutant has 50 more rpm so ttk will be much better but it doesn't justify not running the RD 704 due to price to performance.

Wouldn't you use the RSASS handguard for a recoil build on the mutant?

I think the reason why I personally would run the mutant is because you can put a way longer barrel on it for the long distance shots.

Definitely a fair reason! The long barrel Mutant with a suppressor has 1.68 MOA, and the RD-704 has a 2.15 MOA. Honestly I don't think that there is a major difference for accuracy, but if it works better for you definitely keep at it! I love both personally haha.

Agreed! I've been having a ton of fun with the RD. Have you tried using a scope on it yet? It's pretty accurate at range!

That’s a great question now that the prices have changed. I’d still argue the 704 is cheaper still even with the limitations on listing it on the flea market. For min/maxing the RD is probably still slightly better, but the overall gap between the two isn’t super drastic

you forgot to mention that mutant has higher fire rate because recoil depends partly on firerate

For sure! I did actually initially talk about the fire rate in my original script, but after a bit more testing I found that it really wasn't worth talking about. Generally speaking I agree though.

If you're going to have gameplay in the background with no overlays, at least unblur it. It's annoying.

Thanks for the feedback! In my more recent videos I did actually eliminate the majority of the blurring I was doing. Like you mentioned I had been blurring it without objects on screen and it didn't make sense haha. Hope you enjoyed other than that issue though, thanks for watching!

Its clear that unless u pick up a mutant from some dead pmc or find it as a loot, its not worth using at all. I guess russians got mad that west is better even at making guns with their own catridges so forced more of their bias to the game..eh...
